What this notice covers
When you use the job matching tool on Persona’s careers page, you upload a resume to be matched with open roles that may fit your background. This notice explains how we handle your resume during that process.
Please note that the tool does not retain your resume or results, and that we do not use the tool to evaluate any applications for any roles. The tool is provided solely for your convenience, and you may choose to apply to roles that were not suggested by the tool.

Information we process
When you use the job matching tool, we process the contents of the resume you upload. This may include:
Your name, contact information, and location
Work history, job titles, and employers
Education, certifications, and degrees
Skills you list
Before uploading your resume, remove any personal data that can be considered sensitive, such as details that may imply racial or ethnic origin, religious affiliation, health status, or citizenship.
How we use your information
We use your resume solely to display job match suggestions to you. For example, the tool compares your skills, experience level, and professional background with our current open roles, and returns a list of suggested matches with brief explanations. These suggestions are shown only to you in your browser. Your resume information and suggestions are not retained after your session ends.
We do not use the tool to accept or reject your application for any role. You decide whether to apply to any suggested position. If you apply, your application goes through our standard recruiting process, which is handled separately.
How we share your information
We use our service provider, Anthropic, Inc., to provide this service. We have a contractual agreement in place that limits Anthropic’s use of your data to providing this service. Anthropic does not retain your resume or any suggestions after processing and does not use it to train AI models.
We do not transmit your resume to Persona’s recruiting team through this tool. Recruiters do not see or use the suggestions.
We do not sell or share your personal information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act or comparable laws.
Data retention
Your resume is processed in real time and is not stored by Persona after your matching results are displayed. No copy of your resume or results is written to disk or any database at any point during processing.
