At Persona, we're incredibly proud of our amazing team. We think they're smart, funny, and kind, and we're sure you'll think the same. That's why we started this blog series to help you get to know the people behind Persona.

Today, meet Geet Bhullar, a sales engineer at Persona who loves the Lakers, selling tech, and eating avocados (maybe not necessarily in that order, though it’s fun to imagine him eating avocados after every demo). He shares his advice for job searchers, his favorite Slack channel at Persona, and more in this interview:

What does your typical day look like at Persona?

I usually begin my day with customer demonstrations where we talk about the value of Persona’s platform. Throughout the day, I also work on customer POCs (proof of concepts) and custom demos. I also have weekly meetings with the team where we discuss what the next week looks like and work on trainings for product launches as well as updates for the sales team.

Why did you choose Persona?

I chose Persona because I thought it was uniquely positioned to verify users from any industry, not just finance. I thought the product vision was very good, and the talent at Persona was top-tier.

Do you have a personal mantra or motto you try to follow?

“It always seems impossible until it's done.” - Nelson Mandela

Who is someone you look up to or admire at Persona and why?

I look up to Zack, our Head of Sales, because he is a leader — but in a way that makes him feel more like a teammate. In addition to being invested in your success, he is very humble when he talks to you, and he goes above and beyond to make sure you feel supported.

What advice would you like to give people who are currently job searching?

There are a lot of great companies out there that you could work for, but in my opinion, the most important factors are the culture and the people. If you are looking to solve a hard problem, you might as well have fun while doing it.

What is your favorite Personerds Slack channel and why?

I like the #investing-club channel because people talk about how the market is doing, and it’s cool to see how people are thinking about the stock market.

What's your favorite restaurant, and what dish would you recommend to someone who has never been?

My favorite restaurant to eat at is Rooh in San Francisco, and my favorite dish is Chicken Tikka Masala.

Stay tuned as we continue featuring more Personerds in this ongoing series!
